Just some pictures from the Spring and Summer. Offshore bite has been lackluster while the reef has been consistent all summer long. Most of the new staff are not experienced fishermen so we have to train them on everything from setting anchors, to tying knots, to cutting bait, etc but buy the end of the summer, they can hold their own pretty well. It’s cool to see the progression of a person’s fishing abilities come so far in a 3 month period.
Four fat Lionfish in the dry bag fell victim to the pole spear on the reef line
Dang Dude, I was feeling a little better about my last Keys fishing trip until I saw all those. Will you be looking for “hands” next Summer? My son will be 18 next May. He is trainable.

Thanks Chris!!! the picture of the food on the grill really made me hungry…loved the fish pics and the one of the boys fishing trip…but esp .like the one of all of you around the fire…memories with friends dont go away even after the pictures fade…
GREAT pics Chris! Alex and I have such great memories of our two trips to SeaBase. So glad we had a chance to fish with you and Hoover. We are planning a family trip to Bahia Honda State Park for spring break 2014 and he is already working his fishing plans.
I told my wife that when I get old and retire, I’m going to get a nice boat and a crappy house in the Keys.
