lower unit question

i have a 89 yamaha 150 counter rotation --the lower unit is starting to take in a little water so i have been looking for a replacement (cant be rebuilt due to welds)my question is can i replace it with a standard rotation l.u. and prop?? --engine rotation and shift all seem to work the same on both from what i can tell --does any body know where one can be found for a resonable price? --not looking for new just trying to get a few more years out of her-- :smiley:

how long is the shaft, and is it a single outboard, or 1 of twins?
