Lowrance 337 Combo Unit. No Power??

Yesterday went offshore. Electronics worked great. Got back to the dock, turned the GPS/Sonar unit off. Go to take the boat out of the water this morning and no power on the unit. Boat cranked up fine, all other electronics fine. I checked the fuse to the unit and it is fine. I even changed it to see if that might work. Nothing… Any ideas?? Don’t know where to troubleshoot next. I hope the unit it not shot. It’s about 3 years old. Thanks for any advice!

Is it flush mounted, in the e-box, or on the console? Check to see if the power cable connectors are corroded at all. If they are use some electrical cleaner and retry. Some people like putting a little dielectric grease on the connections to help prevent corrosion. Also, depending on how the installation was done, there may be another fuse somewhere (which there shouldn’t be) but sometimes the inline fuse gets left on even if it gets run through a fuse panel.

What YnR said about the inline fuse. Also depending where your power is coming from…it might be run off a fuse block or the power going to an unrelated switch. try and follow the power wire and see if the connection is good at the end. Then work your way back to the head unit. Also check the ground the same way.
