Used Lowrance HDS-8 unit with 2009 Navionics Platinum+ SoutheastUS/Bahamas chip and Sirius weather & radio module.
I am upgrading to Simrad stuff because of different transducer capabilities and video playback, etc. so I’m selling off my whole Lowrance system except the transducer. There is nothing at all wrong with this system, and if you’re serious with money in hand I’d be happy to show you what it can do while it’s still on my boat.
WX/radio module and antenna have been installed out of the weather inside a fiberglass electronics box. You will hardly be able to tell they’re used.
HDS-8 unit itself has been taken off the boat, cleaned and stored indoors after each use.
I had every intention of keeping all this stuff for a long time, so I’ve taken very good care of it. You can ask those who fish with me about how I am about my tackle and equipment…
The Navionics Platinum Plus chip is the best you can get for these units. The unit has the updated turboview software that operates this high def cartography very smoothly. The Platinum Plus chip has 3D HD satellite imagery and high inshore and offshore detail (fishnchip included on chip). I’d consider selling without the chart chip, but you will be getting a better deal if you take the whole package off my hands.
The Sirius WX and radio subscription is still active, and this setup will be in use on my rig until sold. The broadband sonar and GPS antenna are built into these units, so all you will need is your transducer to hook up and you’ll have the same thing I’ve got right now.
Radar, sidescan, engine monitors, baitwell temp sensors, fuel flow sensors and all sorts of things will hook to this system and give you control over it all in one place.
I am including the SD navionics platinum chip and weather module & antenna in this sale for somebody to get a great deal on a nice complete system. Original packaging and all originally included accessories will come with what you get. Stuff is about 1.5yrs old.
Lots of tire kickers and people wanting this part or that part.
Please don’t make me part this stuff out. It’s a really good system set up for our area already.
Help me find this system a good home.
