I’m new to CF.Com and am hoping you guys can help. 2004 Scout 21 ft with a Lowrance LCX 16 depthfinder that quit registering depth. Checked transducer and it is clean, level, etc. It will work periodically when boat is not moving, or will not register depth other than flashing 1.6ft. When working and boat is moving, it stops? No cavitation sitting still, so I’m lost. Thanks in advance for the pointers!
Had similar symptoms. It is likely new transducer time.

Sounds like a bad connection. Did you check where the Xducer cable plugs into the unit? Make sure it’s not corroded and has a tight connection. The cable could be damaged somewhere also. Start wiggling stuff while someone watches the screen. If you could find a loaner transducer, plug it in and drop it over the side.
