Thanks LSK,I might just try something crazy like that in my 218,but it would have to be with another boat, hey how much ice did you carry with you for all those fish? I really enjoy your reports again GREAT job on the fish!!!

We only took 600 lbs of ice because the box on the boat was incredibly insulated (unlike mine). If I had taken my boat, we would have carried 750 lbs.

Not taking a 23 ft boat 125 nautical miles to catch tuna when the weather is if’y, especially on a trial run.

I need calm, calm, calm, high pressure, and all the stars must unit, for me to pull this trip off, but rest assured, I will, 'cause that’s how I roll.

One very nice yellowfin! Good job, probably not around here. last time i caught yellowfin I had to go to Venice, La. Three or four fish like that would make a trip like that worthwhile! A sword thrown in would make it a great trip!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Wow, that is awesome! That 1st fish is beautiful. I bet he tastes even better. Way to go!

Is 125 miles straight out of Charleston were you caught this??? I thought the “other side” of the stream was pushing 300 or so miles?

Crap I can easily do 125 miles out to catch Tuna like that! Never researched it much because I thought it was out of range for CC and Sporties…

Sparked my interest.

Everybody calm down. These fish were caught wayyy NorthEast. Last thing we need is a bunch of people running 200 miles offshore in 20ft center consoles during thunderstorm and hurricane season. If you want em that bad, fly on up to MA or RI and charter a boat to the canyons.

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

She will not say b/c thats how she rolls…

So, a trip anywhere from VA to Mass for a canyon run over 250 miles total to catch a yellowfin and a few albacore on a commercial boat.

Should’ve just went to Nags Head and saved money.

It ain’t no mystery…this beer’s history!

don’t they drag the big squid spreader bars like that in the NE?

Im sure sellsfish could have hooked her up with a nice tuna steak for a couple of bucks. Talk about saving money.

Why pay when I can catch, keep, and get paid?
