The monster hit at 4:18 am… Fought for over 2 hrs, and then fish took off, straight down, peeling off line on a tiranos 50w so fast the reel literally was smoking, and we got spooled… :frowning_face:

We brought 6 extra fuel cans. We rolled out, and back, at 18 knots in order to consume less gas. Burned 150 gallons. Total trip miles… approximately 350.

What I think everyone wants to know is are you going to a specific area or if you can just get to the Eastern edge of the stream and expect to find fish.

Too bad about the sword(s)…that would pretty much define the deliciousness fish slam right there!
