Sad news about Capt Lucas, he will be missed, super guy
roger that.
one of the fondest memories with Lucas was grilling pork chops on a pontoon boat at Rockville, sometime in the early 90’s.
Hell of a good guy,he will be missed.
…and a great supporter of local charities
decided to play reggae for him all day. too sad.
He is and was a great man! God bless his family and children!
God Speed Lucas…my prayers and deepest sympathies for both families… They will be missed…
Lucas lived life at mach 3 with his hair on fire. I was in the 7th grade when we met and over the years we have been friends, co-workers, and even room-mates. Although our lifestyles took much different routes over the years, we still enjoyed each others company. I talked to him a few days before the accident and we made plans to get together and catch up. The entire situation is just awful. Let us please not forget that two families suffered a tremendous loss and our prayers go out for them.

Lucas was first class. And he was my cousin. The shock of his loss is rippling through not only his family, but, based on the size of the crowd at his memorial today, an entire community.
Godspeed, Lucas…
My prayers are especially with his mother (he was an only child - and NO mother should have to bury a son…), his wife, Helen, and his children.
To say he will be missed is an understatement.

Wow… did not know him or her, but as a fellow pilot and fisherman I sure hate to read stories like this. Thoughts go out to his and her family and friends… sounds like they lost some great people.
