I’ve read about Mann’s stretch 25 being used alot.Does one color seem to work better than another. What works best for you??

I don’t like the Mann’s lures, I can’t get them to run right. I use skirted ballyhoo/w stinger on a #1 or #2 planner.

Try the Rapalas they tend to hold up better and run true. The Manns seem to be “TRASHED” after one fish. Blue/Black seems to be best for me. Caught a many fish on the Rapalas

I just bought the Man 25 stretch in black based on a suggestion from this forum. Im going to run it for Kings this weekend. I looked at the Rapalas too. any suggestion on color?

never fished with these - how are you rigging/running for kings?

How many lines at once?
how far back?
troll speed?
rigging - swivel and short wire leader, heavy mono?
using normal light trolling line?

numbers of your best fishing spot? (thought I might slip that one by you… )

The black/ blue combo has worked for me. Troll at 5 mph, heavy mono on swivel. Had on strike today on funky orange color. The rapalas, with metal lips seem to hold up better.

Going to be in Georgetown on Labor Day…anywhere near to troll for kings that anyone knows? Or anything else to troll for at the jettys to 2-3 miles off? Or is that too close in right now?

I’ve read folks talking about very slow trolls, like a live pogie speed. Wouldn’t seem to put much pressure to pull it down, or give it much action. Anyone ever try this?
