MAD Charleston event now has fishing license exemption for the
troops. All, active duty, reservist, and guard now exempt to fish
the November 14, 2015 MilitaryAppreciationDay event being held
at Rivers Edge Marina. Exemption allows troops to fish this event</font id=“size2”></font id=“red”>
with only their military ID cards, no restrictions as to their orders
or duty station. Troops must be registered with MAD event and be hosted on MAD volunteer boats.
Host volunteers and mates must still possess all valid licenses required and follow all DNR regulations and laws.
Event is drawing close and we are still in need of volunteer boats,
shore help and donations. Please visit the link below to see how

Having been a past receptent of the military appreciation day out of Morehead city back in 2004 I can’t thank the guys enough who donate their time and equipment. I will be there with pit viper pairing up our skills to give some luck service member a good time on the water. If you have the time give it a try I think you will be surprised what you get out of if.

out to do what you write and talk about everyday.

I went on your Facebook page yesterday and was surprised there were only 81 likes. I invited all of me friends to join and asked them to invite their friends. Last I looked, it was up to 121 likes. I will continue to promote the FB page and see to it that the word is spread. Hopefully the more people who know about it, the more we can get to volunteer. I do know that one of my friends did sign up to volunteer time on land, so it is working.
this is a new type of event for Charleston, and we do need to get more friends, especially the kind with boats willing to take a couple of REAL HEROS out for a day.
