Thought that would get your attention.This Snake is a wire used to pull cable.Borrowed one and managed to get it hung up for about 2 hours off and on yanking and pulling it finally free.What a pain in the arse trying to pull my Power Pole cable from the stern to the console.You would thing that the Boat manufacturer would make a bigger slot to pull all those wire’s.After about 3-4 hours off and on I just had to call it quits.I will have some young Stud snake puller do it for Me.Must be a trick “Pulling the Snake” I have outgrown.
I went fishing yesterday and had to yank anchor 6 times.I just looked at the PP and thought what a waste of time over one lousy wire.
If I get the wire right I will make sure there is a string right with it for the next Toy I get.
You got it right with the pull string for next time. I kind of find it hard to believe there isn’t one already in there. but I’m sure you looked high and low, in and out for it before giving up. Good luck with letting some other fella pull your snake though. Just don’t tell anyone about it would be my advice.

Grandson brought this great snake they use for pulling cable for sound systems.I have to get one.You can get 2-4 pieces that screw together made of thin flexible fiber glass.Took him 2 seconds to run that wire.

Don’t know for sure, but I have heard that snake pullin’ always goes easier with lubrication.
