Left murrels inlet this past saterday at 5am at 37mph in 30 game fish. Got out and caught two 35lb black fins and one mahi on top water waves got really big around 11 and we also caught some good snapper. Rough ride back in at 14mph in 30 gamefish.
The waves must have been awful if y’all dropped from 37 to 14mph.

Got out to winyah scarp. And yes it got pretty bad had two woman who never been out befor thinking they weren’t gonna make it back home lol… Waves didn’t get bad till after lunch but report was goin for 2-3 footers…they were not even close
That was the day of the NE wind, right? I was out there too, though not out at the scarp. Was about 2-3 near me, so not very tall seas, just straight nasty though
On the way back it was pretty bad…I say 6footers or so on saterday on the way back in maybe higher but yes it was plain nasty I didn’t look at what wind speed was did you?
We were well south of you. Near us, it was 5-10 leaving the inlet, 10 on the ride out (started to get nasty then) then increased to 15 by early afternoon with gusts probably to 20. Was capping pretty decently. We planned ahead though and returned to shore two inlets south of where we started so we were able to run quartering on the way back, made halfway decent time going back, on plane the whole time. 23’ walk around
Pretty boat.
