I finally took the Lund out on the lake yesterday for the first time since getting it back in March. No fishing, just me and the wife for a test ride. It was nice to get out on the water.
The boat ran great and we had no major problems, other that me flooding the engine after we met up with Lawcrusher and his wife & son. Not realizing or knowing any better, I choked the motor when I went to restart. It took a couple of minutes, then fired right up. Other than that, all went well. No leaks, nice dry & smooth ride compared to the jon boat I had.
I think I’m going to like this boat.
Now if I can just catch a fish in it.
