Man overboard in my creek right in front of Me.

Think He fell off the float.I heard a splash and the guy was hanging on to a piling.I asked him if he was ok and he said yes at least 3 times.I figured he would stand up and get back on the float.I looked back and he was face down in the water and the current was pulling him out.I called 911.I was to weak to help him.I feel bad about that. They are still looking for him.He went in around 745 this morning.Found out he had heart problems.Think he had a massive heart attack right then.

Joe, I know you are feeling guilty but you did all you could my friend. You ask if he was ok and he said yes at least three times. He could have walked back to the float in 3 feet of water had he not had a heart attack. May he RIP.

People will forget what you said…
People will forget what you did…
But people will never forget how you made them feel.

Just saw that on the news at noon. I would feel terrible as well Joe. You did what you could.

You did what you could. Better than you jumping in to help and getting both of you into that situation. I will put you and his family into my prayers

That got to be tough to watch! Dang Joe. But like Yakman said, better that they aren’t looking for both of you.

My goodness Joe, and I know this must be especially rough for you considering just how much experience you have at such situations. Praying for your encouragement. I know you did everything you could have possibly done.

They found the body right where he went down.looks like he was hung up on a boat float that is in the creek.

Wow Joe. So sorry to hear this.

Sorry Joe…

Sounds like there was nothing you could do. That’s really rough.

So sorry Mr. Joe. You called 911, had you not been there, it might have been days before he was found.
