Manatee Sighting

Hit the super-secret walk to spot after work with my son. We’re getting set up when he asks me what an object in the water is. I looked around and dang if there wasn’t a large Manatee swimming around in the shallows. I had him run back to the truck for the camera, but by the time he returned the Manatee had submerged. We kept an eye out for it the remainder of the time we were there, but never saw it again. Filed a sighting report with DNR online.
