Have an old Merc 110 (9.8hp) that I’ve kept going until about a month ago. After literally decades of spark, now, no spark to either cylinder. I have no idea how to trouble shoot this old girl. Anyone have a good source for a maintenance manual for a 1969/70 Merc? Or, a suggestion of a good old/vintage motor site to explore? Or, a good local shop that works on really old Mercs? …more inclinded to work on her myself. 'Just everything that has gone wrong in the past has been mechanical. This is literally the first time in decades that she’s has failed electrically.

Seloc manual came in yesterday. Did a little reading last night. Pulled the old girl apart this morning. Points looked rough. Coils, condensers, and such tested good. Cleaned all connections with a brass tooth brush. Reassembled, and set point gaps. Buttoned her up and she popped on the second pull. Started on the fourth. Slow pee stream? Must need an impeller. Easy enough.
43 years old and resurrected, again.
Guess I’ll order some new points.
