Marathon FL

Anyone have any #s they would like to share around this area for fishing? We will be mainly gulf side, some ocean but in a smallish boat. Will be mostly lobstering but would like to catch a meal or two of fish as well. Would be willing to trade some lobster #s which I have plenty of :-).

Pretty much any bridge with depth holds keeper Mangroves!

How small of a boat? We take our 17’ CC out to the reefs all the time and fish for yellowtail. It is only a few miles out. Check the weather beforehand. We’ve never had an issue.

Had real good success doing this, but I chum like crazy…

Chum and they will come…

Had a great time but got run out this morning for the evac. Left at 4:30…hit a lot of traffic but man I’m glad we left so early…crazy there now. We did end up with a bunch of Mangroves on line. We shot a bunch of lion fish, one HUGE Mutton (wish I would have shot it!) and some lobster but seems most have moved to deeper water.
