Great pix of fun time. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been to Marathon many times…diving and fishing just like you. It is a fun and productive area. Where did you stay? My next trip that way will be the first week in June.

The house was right beside the 7 mile bridge so it was a very easy run offshore each morning.
from this picture you can sorta see how the house was layed out.
from our house, it was a 20 minute ride going 20to25knts to 150-200ft of water.

Nice place. If you don’t mind my asking, how much did they charge for that place? Thanks.

$1800.00
11% florida tax
$500.00 refundable security deposit
Basically a $2500 check expecting to get 500.00 back.
There were others that were less expensive.
Hey Z71, i swear i believe you are in the house directly next door to the one we stayed in last year. Very cool, very jealous didn’t make the trip this year!

Great pics. Looks like fun. We were down there 1st week of August, stayed at a new condo (Indigo Reef) on the left when you go over Vaca Cut. Pricey but really nice. I took my son on a 1/2 day with Sea Dog Charters out on the reef and we chartered a back country guide out of Islamorada. Great conch fritters and cheeseburgers @ the 7 Mile Grille and Key Colony Inn has a good steak. Also ate at Lorelei’s in Islamorada and that was really nice. That’s a great place to go for a vacation. We went down to Key West for the day and don’t care to ever go there again. I guess I’m getting old. I took my Montauk down there and was glad to have it. I got rid of it recently and bought a 222 Grady White. Not sure If I’ll drag that pig down there but it sure would be nice to have it.
