Marathon key

For those who are down there, going or just want to know.
First thank you to those who gave me some good Intel.

The week was a breezy one with NE 15-20kts, 4-6 seas and a few 8’s (I know they were 8’s because it is the only time I get green water on the wind shield when trolling)! The hump was busy as usual but produced a few nice blackfin tuna. The reef was productive with several albacore and sail. The dolphin were pretty much non existent. I spoke with charter captains and a few others and received pretty much the same report I experienced. A friend of mine capt. Richard K who has guided inshore it seems forever (i trust a guy who fishes for a living but doesn’t sell the fish) says you need three solid days of SE wind to push the dolphin back in. Good luck to anyone down there or going.

Oh… the tuna were all caught on red and white and the sail on blue and white with med hoo.
