Not to derail the topic but what are you pulling your boats with? I have a 21’ SeaPro and a GMC 1500. Not sure that is enough truck for 700 miles of interstate speed. Also, does your trailers have brakes on them?

We pulled a 25’ Sportsman with a Ford Expedition, stayed between 70-75mph all the way down and back up to Charleston. It pulls fine. Trailer also has brakes.

Heck the only hills you will find are bridges. I pulled my 28 Bertram from Greenville with a 454 3500 and had to stop ever 200 miles to fill up.

Any recommendations for an inshore guide in the area? Staying at Hawks Cay week of the 16th. Thanks.

Not Atlantic side, but just before you get to Vaca cut there is a boat landing on the bay. from there you can hit Vaca cut and be in the Atlantic in 5 min approximately. Used the landing just this year back in April.

I pull a 24 foot Tidewater with a 1500 Dodge Ram no problems but gas mileage. Lol . If i had the cash I would hire the guys from saltwater experience they are the best in that area or walker from tail walkers .
