What’s everybody’s opinion on these? I bought 2 stainless deck chairs that I hate. They are too hard on my boat. I went to the e sea rider website and there were so many styles and sizes that I didn’t know where to start. I thought that if any of you guys had them, you might offer an opinion on style and size.
Oh by the way, I have 2 like new West Marine deck chairs for sale.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I use the cheap ones from Big Lots. They were less than $10 a piece. They are on their second season and still look new. They work for us, and if I only get a couple of seasons out of them, I am not out much $$ at all. Now, if you have to have the “marine” bags, go for it…

Just bought 1 for starters. Its bigger than you think. 3 would fill the entire transom of the boat up.

Easy Rider bean bags are great, we’ve got 2 tear drops & one chair style bag. Customer Service is good as well. Had one get a small tear, i called them they sent me a bag for the beans, shipping label & package to put the bag in for repair, & did it all for free. Took less than 2weeks total.

I also have 2 of the video bean chairs. After 3 seasons it was time for beans, but I went a different way. Instead of re-filling with beans I placed 6 pool noodles inside. (The noodles just happen to be the proper length to keep the chair “tall”. And “6 noodles wide” will fit the width of the chair.) The left over beans do a great job of filling the voids between noodles. I haven’t tested the new setup, but I think the padding will be better than the ever shifting beans.
I have 2 E Sea Riders and I love them. The first one I got was in 2006 and I fish all year. it has lasted 5 seasons. You should see people’s faces when they sit in them. They are great on a rough ride or for just chilling at the marina. I highly recommend them!
I second the E Sea Riders. I had two large tear drops and we use to fight over them while fishing offshore and also for cruising. The are a bit more pricey but worth the money.
On another note, I looking to get two for my 17 foot boat for cruising. What size tear drops does every think. Will the small tear drops be too small? I just don’t want to take up the whole back of the boat but I want to make sure they are big enough.
I don’t know what others do here, but my charter friend in Venice bungee cord them down on top of the t-top/hardtop when the bean bags are not in use (to free up space in the cockpit)
