Marine Electrician in area

As one of my earlier posts said I am having problems with my Marine radio going into low battery when I key the mic. I looked into it last night and found the dealer wired it into the daisy chain of CB’s that are for all the lights and pump switches. Radio works fine with everything off, turn on anything radio goes to low battery. Does anyone know a good Marine electrician who can look at it and at lease tell me if that is correct wiring? Makes me alseo wonder if my Lowrance is wired correctly as well?

A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.

I can take a look at it for you. I’m not a marine tech but I am an ASE tech. Same basic principles. It sounds like there may be too many loads running off of one common power lead that is not large enough to handle the current demand of everything. Could also be a poor connection somewhere in the line causing a voltage drop issue. Could be a number of things and should only take a second to pinpoint the issue. Also should be a pretty simple repair. Shoot me an address and number and we can figure out a time.
