Marine plywood

I went on line today to get an idea of who had marine grade plywood in town and came across “Charleston Marine Lumber,LLC”. They are located over near the old Navy Base. I thought I had heard of about all of the specialty lumber yards in town…Southern Lumber, Buck, etc., but I have never heard of this one. Has anyone ever heard of or used them?

I have used them in the past, but they were out of business the last time I tried. That’s been a year or more ago. I used to buy a lot of teak from them.
For service, price and quality I buy all my plywood from this site in Vero Beach, FL http://plywood.boatbuildercentral.com/ Shipping is $95 from there to Savannah, no matter if it is one sheet or 20. Probably the same to Charleston. I always try to keep plenty on hand, but running a little low now and need to order more. What type and size are you looking for?

Looking for enough to build an overhead electronics console for the T-top. I’m guessing one sheet of thin, maybe 1/4 inch or so, should do it. It’s gonna be glassed over and painted.

PM sent.

I’ve got a 1/2 sheet of 1/4 BS1088 meranti and a full sheet of 3/8 BS1088 okume, and a lot of random pieces. If you want to drive down to Clyo, GA I can fix you up with enough for an electronics box.
