Marlin inshore?

Pretty cool stories about two marlin captured in the last couple of weeks - inshore. One in Kona, Hawaii, the other in NE Australia. Check out billfishreport.com.

Pretty impressive. Don’t see that here in CHS.

I don’t even remember which channel but once I saw a fishing show about fishing for marlin from the cliffs at Steep Point Australia. They were filming the day that something like 7 marlin hookups happened but nobody was able to land one. I can’t find jack crap about doing such on the web but it’s a pretty interesting little setup they have down there.

If you ever find yourself looking for a real challenge, head down to Jervis Bay on the south coast of NSW. Marlin, Tuna, Mako are all caught from the rocks there

Have fished it myself and caught small mako and yft (not blessed with a stickface).
