Marsh Scenery Artist

The wife wants the Boykin prints moved out of the Living Room. I would like to replace them with maybe a large picture of a marsh scene, or something to that effect. I know Jim Booth, but who else do yall recommend looking at? I appreciate any info. Figure like minded people may know of something good that I cant think of.

go to 23Sailfish profile. he has taken some great photos or the area

I’m not sure if he does/did any marsh scenes, but try Art La May. I have a number of his signed/ numbered prints of birds. He painted “Where The Boys Are”… the Mallard drakes on a log. There’s a pretty good art shop in the Market ( if you want to brave the tourists) that has lots of Lowcountry signed/ numbered prints and marsh scenes.Personally I would never take down my Boykin prints. My Boykin was the best dog I ever had, and am in the nearby future going to bring home another if I can find a good litter.

West Fraser.

Thanks guys. I will check it all out.

One more suggestion is Sharon McIntosh, she is a local Savannah artist who does marsh scenes almost exclusively. www.sharonmcintosh.com
