I would like to ask a favor of any of you who might happen to post on Facebook.
My moms youngest sister s granddaughter was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia after running fever for several days. She is just two years old…in fact turned two the weekend after being diagnosed. Since that time she has had a bone marrow aspiration, a port placed and several rounds of chemo already. She has been very sick. They have started a Facebook page called “Masks for Mikayla”. And are asking that people take a picture of themselves with any type mask on and post it there to show support and to cheer her …and her family up. It’s a very sad time for them,. Please keep her In your prayers…and pass this on. Her parents are Andy and Jessica Pope. One more thing to add… Right before Christmas. makaylas older sister. maddie cut her beautiful long hair and gave it to saint Jude’s…because she wanted another little girl to have hair too .
Andy, the daddy was laid off from his job reccently and then fell from their roof about two months ago and is still recovering from his injuries too. . it’s been a tough time for them so we are trying to let them know there are folks from all over keeping them and Makayla in their thoughts and prayers.
