May Meet and Fish

What would guys like to do this month? I was thinking about Murrell’s inlet for this event. The flounder bite should be in full swing. I was thinking about doing the second Saturday of the month because of scheduling conflicts. Would this be ok with everyone or would you all like to keep it on the first saturday? Also, I would like to try and set up a Upstate and Lower state club Meet and Fish somewhere near Columbia. Would this be something that you all be interested in?

Either Saturday works for me!

Murrells sounds great…The second Sat (May 11th) would be great too.

Carter , I’m putting together a 2 day event on Hartwell in August. There should be plenty of camping spots right on the fish. There will be plenty of food , and a bass/striper tournament for those intrested. The stripers should be schooling on top good by then. I’m getting the sponsors and prizes finalized soon. I will post a flyer here when it’s ready , the Upstate Club would be glad for you all to show up , and we’ll help any way we can. Thanks , Brad

Sounds great to m Justin…I would also be interested in an upstate event as well.

What happen to Sundays I drive down from Columbia try to go to all the meeting have to work on Saturday ?

If Sundays are the day that the group would rather meet I am not apposed at all. I suggested the change in days based on my work schedule and the fact that in the beginning a lot of people seemed to want to have it on Saturday.

Well, what say the group? Do you want it on Saturdays or Sundays?

I vote Saturday…better day of the two for me.

Murrell’s sounds good…I’ll be there. Either day that weekend is good for me.

Saturday for me too

either day is fine with me and the 2nd Sat sounds good for May.

I’m unable to choose a day b/c my schedule rotates so often. So for this event, Saturday works for me but Sunday doesn’t. I have missed other Meet and Fish gatherings b/c I was on shift on that Saturday or Sunday.

Either day is good for me the second weekend as we will be in MI all weekend

Saturdays work for me! where would we be launching from if murrells inlet?

I go for Saturdays…but both would work for me as well.

We will be meeting at the oyster recycling center off of highway 17 for this event. I will post up the time when the event gets closer.

I will see what is happening with my schedule as well, I would love to tag along.

Carter - have you set a time for this yet?

We will meet at the Oyster Recycling Center (where we met last year) at 9:30 am. If you want to get bait and are coming up 17 you can stop at Pawley’s Island Outdoors for mud minnows and frozen bait. The guys there are really nice and will help you out with whatever you will need.
