Wrong. NWZ runs from the middle of may thru Sept usually, it has been removed for the winter. You are still responsible for your wake and most people slow down when passing the tidalwave jet ski place and iop marina. Most people that is.

It is what it is!

I’ve never seen them removed, but since you are the icw master, I’ll take your word for it capt.

Where are they removed?

I believe after towlers cove its open till like frits said tidalwave pretty much. But if there is no sign people haul .

grab the gaff and another cold beer

the iop no wake zone now begins just as you are entering the marina creek. you can go wide open behind iop now.

Since we’re on this… Are no wake zones only marked with buoys or are they marked with signs only in some spots? I know the basic 50’ and you’re responsible for your wake, but I’m not sure what areas are true NWZs or not. Thanks for the help.

In most cases, if it is marked by a sign, it will be on a post at the edge of the marsh or on bridge columns… If it is attached to a private dock, chances are its not an official no wake zone…
