Left late with the idea that my freezer is full of dolphin and I wanted some cobia. Picked up some jellyballs and menhaden in front of morris and headed out. Fished from 60 to 100 ft then back in shallow and ran the cans. The usual triggers, bsbs, b-liners, aj’s, sharks, etc. Saw a few schools of spades on some live bottom but never really got them schooled up. I should have dropped a jellyball stringer. Released some endangered red snapper, that always hurts. Ocean was nice with 28mph out and over 32 back. Never did see a cobia… Maybe it’s just not my year. Nice day out on the ocean though.
