Fished Thursday and Friday with Thursday being the better day, fish wise and condition wise. But, Friday still produced. Ended up with a nice catch of Scamps and Gags on Thursday. Friday, caught a couple short Gags and ARS along with the usual Blackfish, Beeliners, Pinks and Triggers.

I know the SAFMC was looking at changing the limits on Blackfish this past week if I recall correctly. Anyone hear what they decided? Anyway, this past year it seems as though the Beeliners are the ones they should consider increasing the limits on. We catch our limit far faster on them than we do the Blackfish.

Great to finally have a break in the weather.

Forgot to mention - had a school of dolphin come by, 20+ fish. Pretty cool sight for December. They were only about 24-30". Amazingly, they did not eat anything. I threw a cigar minor at them, a ballyhoo, a handful of cut squid, not to mention I had my rig down about 15’ with a cigar minnow. Nothing! Could not believe they didn’t eat anything. I can understand maybe being wise to the hook and line, but not hitting the other free falling baits??? Maybe they just wanted live bait? We were at the Gardens, 75’ of water.
