Went out with a friend of mine with a little more experience in the area in McClellanville. Fished the outgoing tide at a few spots that he knew. A little slow at first, then the reds started hitting. I ended up with 2 slot sized drum in the livewell and a couple of missed hits. My friend pulled in one that was a little over slot sized, and a 30" fish! the last one that I was able to hook made that 30 incher look small, but it spat the hook at me from right next to the boat! All in all, a good day on the water.
Daddy said he has been seeing a lot of folks fishing in the last week…and talk edit a cople of them who said the bite was slow…but good. I miss going home to fish. We were going today but mr cold and wind kicked in. Daddys out there oystering …hope he stays safe…and warm. Glad you had a good day!

I’m glad to hear the reds turned back on in Mcville. We found the reds in a few different spots but couldn’t get many of them to bite October - December. We’re going again in a couple weeks and hoping they’ll be hungry. We’re the trout still on fire?

Nice report. McClellanville is my home town and I haven’t fished there in years. Guess I’ll give it a try when I visit family this year. A long haul with a boat from The Creek, goose creek that is
