My dad and I battled the East wind for three days, and finally on Memorial Day afternoon the spottails decided to eat. We caught ten fish in thirty minutes and they were all over slot. All were on live menhaden.

Good job, and welcome to the site. What kind of boat is that?
Nice fish! Way to hang in there.
Really like the way you have those Driftmaster (or similar) rod holder’s set up on the bow.
Definitely looks like reds in the McClellanville part of the “Ditch”. Nice fat silver reds.
Good report and very nice reds

That’s my dad’s boat and he has 18 rod holders for fishing and 16 on his back rails and t-top for storage. He’s a more is better kind of guy. We were in the ICW a few miles south of McClellanville.

Great fish. The fight is awesome in May, isn’t it! Fat and greedy reds, chancing upon a hook! Good times!
