McClellanville Ramp

Is anybody using the ramp at McClellanville? What’s the dope on using this ramp. Fees, parking, etc>

The first myth of management is that it exists.

If you are talking about Buck Hall, it’s a $5 launch fee I believe. Shouldn’t have a problem with anything else.

no; he is talking about the ramp in mcclellanville. i think that you have to contact their town hall and make arangements of call rut cleland (mayor) at carolina seafood. 843577-3853

Ramp is b permit …you can get a yearly one…and I think now you can get a daily pass at the hardware…but good luck on the parking there…minimal parking spaces to be had…maybe 15… And can’t park along the streets. Some park at the school house and ride a bike or hoof it back to the ramp…have seen bikes chained up there for safety. Nice ramp…just not much space for parking. You can also get a yearly pass for buck hall form the national forestry station…might be able to get one online…and seniiors and military can get a discount edlifetime pass for a small fee that includes all of the national forestry parks. We used my daddy’s when we went with them to the mountains( pisgah national forest park)

They were selling annuals for Buck Hall Sat for $25

Bullshi# with all the F-in@ taxes we pay. Unreal! Property taxes, fishing license, registration, state taxes, federal taxes.

^^^^^ Yep and you can even use a #$%^& boat ramp

Miss Penny I parked at the school years back and got towed WITH MY $100 PERMIT. Said no parking at the school during the week… just saying!

Depending on where you are coming from South Island ferry may be a good option. Its free, and about a 30 minute ride down the ICW. when you put in in Mville, you still have a tricky 20 minute ride. If coming from Charleston, then yeah…Buckhall. I quit dealing with that ramp years ago.

Thanks for telling me…and them…really…Wasn’t sure About the school parking…but still see folks park there even to go fish…wasn’t trying to mislead anyone abut the parking there…so hope I didn’t…just posting what I see when I’m going to my parents as they live down on scotia. Have fun and. Atch’em up…but leave a few for me
