took advantage of a weather window and fished aboard yellow fever with john, his son and master bubblewatcher-boat driver, matt. west wind made for a nice ride out and lines in at 130’. trolled out to 220’ with only one small phin a lots of cuda. crossed the ledge again around noon and found good bait balls 100’ below the surface. matt nailed a 42lb bull and we ended up with 5 phins and 2 hoos at 25 & 30 lbs. headed in to 90’ for some meat. frist drop i snagged a good bug and the battle drew in a nice hog which was sent to the surface. viz was only about 15’ as the sun didn’t come out all day. second drop on a bug ledge produced 5 more bugs and 2 were 10lbs. water was awesome all day and it was like glass most of the day! I think I’m putting the yellow fever on my short list as I can’t seem to hook up with any of the local diving crews.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
