tired of rolling out@ 2am to catch single digit phins! rolled out at 0815 with following seas out to 100’. layed down nice at 10:00 after we limited out on beeliners.(30) went through 3doz pinfish in about 1.5hrs on large red snappers!
seabass were also hitting them and the ones we caught were 3 to 4lbs.
we were ready to hit the bottom at that point and frist 2 divers hit the water.jonas and john hit the bottom and sent up some good fish, loose shoe went next and sent up a limit of scamps! viz was 100’+ 76deg top to bottom. no current and awesome viz. broke the golden rule and left fish to find fish! went north for better fish and the viz went to 15’ and no shooters!. went back south and realfish01 and I rolled over the side to 120+ viz and no current! scamps met us on the bottom and we cleaned house. 15 to 18 pounders!site was loaded with hudge gags and hard to stay within the limits.cleaned fish at the dock till 11:30. baskets of beeliners, bsb, and a few triggers.
one of the best dive days I have ever had with all the fish you could shoot, 120’ viz and great dive crew! eric, jonas,john, loose shoe and mike to help~!
got back to the house @1:30 still having to feed deer dogs and horses. hit the sack so I could roll again at 6am! another great story for sun!
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
