Looking for recommendations for several projects on my new boat from electrical troubleshooting to installing lights, fans, spotlight, etc.
You need to be a little more specific. One thing I like to do if running new ad ons is use a good grade extension cord for power/ ground wires, eliminating a need for conduit.
If you are adding a bunch of stuff up front you can get some heavy duty trailer wiring like our Big Rig Trailers use with Seven wires. If you have a friend that needs some too, you can buy 50’ for around $40.00 rather than paying by the foot.
YA NEED TO BE PROJECT SPECIFIC… JUST THROWING OUT THAT KIND OF QUESTION IS JUST OPENING A LARGE CAN OF WORMS GOING NOWHERE…

for use in a Marine environment, we do not suggest using RO cable or extension cord. they are not tinned copper wire.
The overall cost difference isnt that much, and it will be alot less hassle down the road.
