Anyone other than me have trouble finding menhaden this weekend? Been seeing them everywhere in wando last couple weeks. Put boat in at 6 sat am for earlybite and looked for over 2 hours with nothing! Finally bought a couple crabs from crabber and managed one 10 lb 30 inch red before water got in the grass. Great fish but I had hoped to be fishing earlier than 830, thoughts?
saw them everywhere in James Island creek. Seems like its the only type of fish I can get in the boat!
you probably had trouble finding them in the early morning cause the tide was already up in the grass, same thing happened to me, luckly we saw a small school and got some.
