Mercedes

I got an older Mercedes and need a mechanic. Any recommendations on James Island or West Ashley.

I’ve used BenzMD who is out Hwy 61 behind a Doggie Day Care place. Pretty much just a guy in a garage, but he knows his stuff and is a bunch cheaper than the dealer.

I use Black Forest Import Service in Mt P.

If memory serves, they have a cut off year for servicing Mercs-parts availability is the problem.
They do a good job; but you may want to call to make sure your car isn’t too old for them.
Mt P may be too far away for you

Take it to German auto, great mechanic, just not the best price wise.

I’m not making fun of you. Many people love the German cars (without the ‘mustache guy’ connection). Older VW and Porsche and MB cars are supported by small parts suppliers. Want to share the make and model. My favorite was my 1973 280SE 4.5. What a beauty! Google it.

2 nd for BENZMD. Henry is a great guy and knows his stuff.
