Fishing there is unreal. Wife’s parents from there and I used to spend 2/3 weeks a year there. Now they are in assisted Living in Texas. Sucks…I may retire to Bay St Louis, Ms.
HL I was there just north of you a few miles fishing on the 16th and 17th. We did not do as well as you did but 10 (4 first timers) ended with 240 trout and 2 reds in the box. It’s like cheatin down there.

Congratulations! Do you remember what time of the day did they bite best, and what was the tide doing?

Wow, is that with a guide or an outfitter service? If so could you share theyre name, I wouldnt mind planning a trip to do this
Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.

I was not with a guide or outfitter’s service. I was staying at my camp and was in my boat. Most guides use live shrimp under a cork and out of a boat. I was wading and using all artificial bait. If you want a guide, call Brent Roy 225-268-8420. Brent catches a LOT MORE than I do, and he does it all the time.

Next spring, I’ll be in the same old boat I’ve been in for the last ten years…and I’ll still be catching a LOT of fish. Best part: I don’t have a boat payment.

Bite was all day whenever the wind wasn’t blowing too bad except for around 2-3pm when we had slack tide. Top water but was good only
early and late. Now the last two years I went in the fall and the top water bite was all day every day, so was a little disappointed
in that this time.
Fishin Mission we go on the Southern Magnolia. He has a website.
Not really guided, he puts you out there in your own boat in a good area with some pointers,
but does not fish with you. Turns you loose to do your own thing, but always available to give you his advice/ opinion.
I so have to learn how to catch trout. I think I catch only the random mentally challenged trout.
Spent a year in Biloxi, some real gator trout around that area. Wish we had numbers like that around here!
Great post! That’s some serious fish catching!
