We have dates available for charters on the Micabe, 55 Jarrett Bay, in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. We will be on the island isla mujeres in Mexico, just outside of Cancun, from mid January threw February. This is a world renowned spot for sailfishing. In the Dominican Republic we will be docked at the Casa de Campo resort from April threw June. This was the hot spot for Blue Marlin last year. Any questions or to book dates call me 843-860-1911 or e-mail me ryan@micabe.com. Capt. Ryan Riggs
Capt Ryan is a great fisherman. He has caught multiple slams out of Charleston and will rack up some great numbers in these locations. You wont be sorry if you fish with him.

Capt. Ryan, just curious, but when I was down fishing Isla Mujeres last Feb., all the local boats were taking a knife to the line if the angler wouldn’t agree to having the fish mounted. They wouldn’t even let them fight the fish. It seems they were in with the local taxidermist. Is this common down there or did I see one bad outfit? It seems in the three days I was there they hung at least 30 sails for no reason.
…contrast that with the fact that in Guatemala it is illigal to kill a sailfish. At least they understand they have a valuable resource.
That was probley a bad local charter. When you book a professional boat from the states you get professional service that you would expect in the states. Do remember that ou cannot remove sailfish from the water when caught. It increases survival and speeds up time to next fish.
