Started the day early with the crew at the marina, then a mishap cost us some time. We cleared the jetties at 0730 and was met with a bit of a sloppy ride, had lines in at 1005. Three gaffer bulls in the boat by 1045. Pushed out a little deeper when it slowed down. Found some more phis as we crossed the inside of the ledge with a nice temp break, found by others as well… We landed a good size sail today (pictures and a short video coming). Left him in the water for his photo opp…
Then we had something large on for a good long fight, thinking shark… stayed deep we talked about what if this is a BIG Hoo… and it was. Around 6ft long, no guess on the weight. Due to a gaff and release he’s back in the ocean. On the way back in stopped in 325-350 and a weed line was forming on a rip. Only saw one P-nut but tons of flyers. Made a couple passes notta. trolled in for a while, saw a group of birds working in 315, chases them trolled and pitched baits, notta, then headed in. Nice 30mph ride home, and a treat, had another capt on boat and he
offered to drive home. Thank you… It really makes a difference. tlread please post the pics of the sail…

6 keeper Carolina gold
Couple spit hooks far back…
One missed LARGE HOO at the boat, bit through floro
1 landed Sail
back inside the jetties before 6pm
