Great ride out and back both days.
5/30 fished 150-300 near 380 several lost but managed 5 mahi in the box
and then proceeded to loose hoo’s, lost 4 all clean bite offs, even on the wire.(40lbs not enough, changing rigs to 110)
5/31 Went deep, blew past the ledge, past 226 and headed for 78 degree water. Nothing deep but a couple cold slicks, went round and round a weed line picking at small mahi. Put a couple in the box, picked up and ran from 800 in to 400 feet. Back to the area fished the day prior.
found a temp break and picked up another. Set the troll to 330, and trolled in to 155 feet where we were clearing the lines headed in when Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz wahoo tearing off line!
boated the Daymaker hoo for us caping a great two days of fishing with friends
One special thanks to Tom for mating both days! I met Tom through Charleston Fishing and I am thankful so…

Sounds like you guys had about the same day we did yesterday. We searched all day for the green and blue, but didn’t find any until on the way in. Nice hoo Wayne!
Just trying to find `em…</font id=“blue”>
thanks, other than the last 8 miles, both days were the best i have seen in a couple years fishing offshore here. Most boats could have made the trip, but i am very glad i was not in my other boat for that last 8 miles. I saw a bunch of smaller CC and other smaller boats paying for making the trip. Just mother ocean reminding us that she is in charge…
thanks

“The charm of fishing is that, it is the pursuit of what is elusive, but attainable; a perpetual series of occasions for hope.”
