caught 16 today. Almost all were 18-19". Caught on mirror lures, grubs and shrimp. Great day on the water

TL2 I heard that! I spent 3 and 1/2 hard hours at it Saturday with no results. I wore the skunk suit all the way back to the hill.
They did move. I was stubborn Sunday AM and did not go to where I had seen some Saturday, instead looking elsewhere (I am dumb like that at times). Not one strike. Monday I went to where I’d found them Saturday, tore them up. One of my better trout days this year.
Btw, I fish out of a green yak if anyone wants to follow me 
Had the same sorta day Saturday. Tried all up and down several creeks with fresh bait and lures. Not the first bite. If I see a green yak, I’m followin’ it.
I think I’ll go fishin.

Hey Strato - I was joking. Wouldn’t do me any good to follow somebody anyway - even if they do know what they’re doing. These days, I’m genuinely not sure I would have any luck literally shootin’ fish in a barrel. Thank the good Lord for a good shrimp season, at least there’s shrimp in the freezer.
