They’re here. Brought the sled down this weekend. Caught several, good but were 2-3 pound range. Went south Saturday. Water looks like chocolate milk.
nice job. did you catch them in the creeks? Went yesterday and managed one nice trout on a jig. tried out at the jetties also, but bluefish were really bad.
We were at the jetties yesterday too, catching two blues at a time on one mirrolure. Twice in about 15 minutes, we left for the creeks, where we caught… more blues.
Most of the trout I am seeing people catch has been on shrimp and the ones I’ve caught all had shrimp in their stomach, when not empty.
Creeks floating live shrimp. It was nice to see several in the 2-3 pound range. We caught a few more around 15" but culled them. Blues weren’t that bad where we were. As soon as the tide started to fall it was game on.
