miami trip (added pic)

day 1: fishing slow, went 2:3 on sails. 2 other boats in Marina fished. 1 had a dozen mahi, a blackfin, and no sails. Both boats came in early to avoid thr front that was approaching (tornado warning + center console= not worth it) Other had 6 sails and fished until front arrived.
Day 2: slow up and down the coast with a bonito frenzy being reported by all on the radio. 30 mph west wind and a falling tide emptied biscayne bay. Green nasty water. After getting mugged for several hours without being able to get a complete spread out we tried something different. Went dropping on some wrecks to catch a grouper. Donkeys were thick. Managed to catch them everytime except for the one time we got holed up on a grouper. Left that to try to find some dolphins. Green water out to 1200’. only 16 sails caught in the billfish masters tournament. Went out a dark and managed to catch a tarpon. Had a triple header, but only caught one. Also got jacks, small grouper, and a keepr mangrove. Fishing shut down after the tied started ebbing hard.
Day 3: same weather, cancelled, and came home.

Caught a 100 pound sturgeon on 20 pound test…
