Miami

Going to Miami in August for my son’s batchelor party and want to do some fishing for billfish, anyone have any recommendations for boat/captain?
Thanks

Lots of good sailfish guides down there but I’d recommend checking out the guys that run Miss Britt Charters.

IMHO Capt. Ray Rosher is one of the best in the business.

The billfish bite down there (which is really sailfish) is in late fall\winter. You would have to call the Miss Britt to find out what is biting in August.

Flies. That’s a hard time of year down there. Hit the shelf and hope for kings, dolphin and maybe a wahoo. But on the bright side you can bikini watch with binoculars while your fishing.

Appreciate the info- -may try swordfishing as we catch plenty of dolphin, wahoo here

That’s probably a good plan. Try the day time deep drop when you are down there.

If you wanna do a combo of sail & tarpon look up Lunkerdog.com
