Mid July Charter Recommendations

I’m a serious, but not local, fisherman looking to plan the right kind of charter for a full or ¾ day trip for 5 guys on a bachelor party in mid-July.

I would love to go offshore for wahoo, mahi, blackfin, sails, but I am concerned that the bite may have swum north or the water is too warm this late in the summer. What are the group’s recommendation for the right kind of trip? If we find the trolling bite is nonexistent, is the bottom fishing close to the offshore grounds and reliable that time of year?

I’m also looking for recommendations on charters/captains with the right attitude for the group who can put us on the fish.

Look forward to the forum’s thoughts. I’m current pricing out options with boats, captains, trips types.

Thanks,
Denny

Capt. Robert Olsen - Knot @ Work - (843) 442-7724

Mark Brown on the teaser 2. 843-881-9735

^ both of those are top knotch

Mayhem
Pioneer 197

The two above are good guys and I can hold my own. Trolling will be very spotty but bottom fishing is good. Grouper is open now as well.
