Military Appreciation Day Morehead 2015

This was my 3rd year towing my boat to Morehead.

the captains meeting was at the Morehead City Docks

over 100 boats signed up, I’m there at 63.

after registration, MAD fed over 300 volunteers at the City Park.

On Saturday, MAD organizes family events. (thank you Calcutta & Sea Tow)

I rolled in with my two Marines. I broke last years catch record with 5 Spanish & 5 Bluefish.

by the time they took the flag down Saturday evening, MAD had served over 1300 plates of food, and the remaining food was donated to the local homeless shelter.

What an incredible event. I guess that’s why I drive to Morehead.
