Hi everyone,
Once again we turn our efforts to the Southern waters in NC and look at Military Appreciation Day Oak Island on September 10, 2011. We need boaters to volunteer their time, boat and talents to take a few troops fishing. This is a fishing only event but don’t let that fool you; we will still have great food and prizes to hand out.
Please consider volunteering to take some of these Heroes out for a day on the water. They are happy catching sharks if that is all there is. No need to go way offshore unless you want to, there should be plenty of action near shore if fuel costs are a concern.
These brave men and women have volunteered to put it all on the line for America should she need it, lets give them One Simple Thanks by taking them into our world for a day and go fishing!
Hey, if you are going out with your normal crew that day anyway, consider swinging by South Harbour Village Marina fuel dock and picking up one Hero and possibly a new friend along the way it is an enjoyable experience for everyone, you will have a blast I guarantee it!

There are free boats slip at Southport Marina its first come first service on them. Have a discount on rooms at the Hampton Inn in Southport too. Let me know if you sign up and I’ll send you the info to get the discount…

Come guys this is one of the best events around!!! Its fun and you get to do what you love to do is fish and take some soldiers fishing with you! Its your time to show our Soldiers how much we APPRECIATE what they do for us…
