Where can I find a Milk Carton for my kayak? I have tried the tradional places without any luck: Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc
My wife actually found a crate at Target that works pretty well. While it is a bit larger than a milk crate it still does the job.

West Marine has standard size Milk Crates for about $6. (Or you can always do the late night grocery store drive-by)

Walmart & Big Lots both carry crates that are functional for a Yak Crate for about 3 or 4 dollars. For that price you can buy 2 & either use each one for different fishing situations (freshwater/saltwater) or cut one to make a lid for the other.
they’re not as heavy duty as regular milk crates but are very adequate for most folks use.
